Special Projects

Most of what we build is for the ultralight backpacker chasing high mountain adventure. Long approaches, real elevation, weather that turns, a pack where every ounce has to argue for itself.

The Special Projects Division works differently.

This division allows us to offer specialized, limited production products that are narrow in scope and applicability. Some of them come from gaps we hit in our own kit, out in the field. Others come from specialized requests brought to us from outside OV, from people we know or people we have vetted, who bring us a specific problem nobody else has solved for them.

Either way we ask the same question: if this person needs it, how many more people out there need it too?

This isn't a line built to scale. It exists to build the gear that otherwise wouldn't exist.
